Banbury Bulls coach Grant Holmes remains confident they can survive in Midlands 2 East despite slipping five points adrift of safety.
Bulls lost 41-17 to Paviors on Saturday, with Dave Taylor and Nick Pratt scoring tries, plus Pete Flemming kicking two conversions and a penalty.
Holmes said: "We have a big mountain to climb to get ourselves out of the predicament we are in.
"But we are still confident that we can secure enough wins in the remaining games to keep our place in Midlands 2."
- A rugby ball signed by all six World Cup winning captains will be up for auction at Henley Hawks' Christmas Star Ball on December 8.
