Oxford City's Hawtin sisters stole the show at the UK Liverpool Cross Challenge.
The youngest of the clan, Beth, took part in her first UK challenge, and made the perfect start by posting a superb victory in the under 11 girls' age group.
In the under 13 girls' race, Lauren finished just outside the medals in fourth place, followed home by Rebecca Byren in 20th and Hannah Byren in 24th.
In the under 15 girls' race, the top ten runners in the UK did battle, and Melissa Hawtin was involved from start to finish.
In a tense sprint for the line, Melissa stormed through to take the silver medal.
Beth Swords, suffering from a bout of 'flu, finished 27th, while Ellie Clarke-Jacques and Jade Walker were 33rd and 37th respectively.
Bea Swords, also suffering, failed to finish in the under 17 girls' race.
In the under 13 boys' race, Josh Tack finished 29th.
