Abingdon Amblers' Hilary O'Shea was fifth lady overall and first in the vet 50 category at the Avebury 8 Trail race.
She clocked a time of 1hr 12mins 30secs on the undulating course.
After the event, she heard that she was first veteran in the 2006 Trail Running Association Championship - a series of long-distance trail races.
- White Horse Harriers' Neil Chapman finished seventh in the Wessex Cross Country meeting at Hudson's Field, Salisbury.
Chapman clocked 30mins 12secs and was the first Harrier across the line.
Paul Jegou finished 15th in 31.55, with Terry Coakley clocking 34.00 for 18th and Dene Stringfellow 38.51 for 42nd.
In the senior ladies' race, Caroline Murphy was 13th in 1924, while Bethan Murphy-Hand was sixth in the under 15 girls' category, crossing the line in 10.52.
