Didcot Town replaced Oxford City as British Gas Business Southern League Division 1 South & West leaders after a 4-1 victory at Winchester City.
Missing a number of regulars, Didcot were made to work hard for the win.
Jack King headed them in front on the half hour and converted a hotly-disputed penalty to make it 2-0 after the break.
Michael Bartley bagged Didcot's third on 71 minutes before Winchester scored both the remaining goals in the final ten minutes.
James Williams pulled one back, but Scott Gilham put the ball past his own keeper for the visitors' fourth.
Didcot: Watkins, Davis, Bicknell, Peirson, Williams, Jack, Witt, King, Bartley (Hopkins 72), Hope, Heapy.
