Herecomestanley could be aimed at the Scottish Grand National by Banbury trainer Milton Harris after posting his fourth win of the season at Ludlow on Monday.

The versatile eight-year-old beat Marked Man by three and a half lengths in the Weatherbys Bloodstock Insurance Handicap Chase after already being successful in three hurdle races this term.

Edgcote handler Harris said: "I thought about the Scottish National for him last season, but the way he is going now, he might just get in the race at the bottom end.

"One pundit said he would eat his hat if this horse won a race. It's eight wins since then and I just wish I was that guy's hat supplier!"

Henrietta Knight, who trains at West Lockinge, near Wantage, also struck with Quarry Town in the EBF "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle.
