Abingdon Utd 3 (Alexis 29, Curtin 59, Beechers 89)
Farnborough 2 (Cardini 44 (pen), Woosley 79)
Substitute Billy Beechers scored the late winner for ten-man Abingdon as they saw off ten-man Farnborough in Saturday's Division 1 South & West encounter at Northcourt Road on Saturday.
It extended Abingdon's unbeaten league run to 11 matches.
Early on, Abingdon were indebted to their keeper Carl Wilkins who made two good saves, before Nicholas Cardini headed over.
Having weathered the storm, Abingdon took the lead when Michael Alexis fired home after a goalmouth scramble.
Farnborough levelled when Cardini scored from the penalty spot after former Oxford United loan striker Neville Roach was fouled by Nathan Woodley.
After the break, Ryan Curtin restored Abingdon's advantage after being set up by Luke Holden.
The equaliser eventually arrived with ten minutes left as a poor clearance allowed ex-Oxford United player David Woozley to control the ball it before lashing it past Wilkins.
Five minutes from time, both sides were reduced to ten men when Woodley and Roach were sent off following a scuffle.
And in the time added on for the stoppage, Beechers turned inside his man and hit a scorching shot that keeper Lyall Beazley got a hand to, but couldn't prevent going over the line.
That left Farnborough with no time for a comeback as Abingdon moved up to seventh.
Abingdon Utd: Wilkins, Moss, Organ, Woodley, Franklin, McCalmon, Alexis, Herbert, Holden (Odhiambo 82), Carbon, Curtin (Beechers 80). Subs not used: Tricker, R Brooks, Mills.
