Didcot Tn 2 (Powell 10, Bicknell 55)
Slough Town 0
Didcot kept up the pressure on Division 1 South & West leaders Oxford City with a comfortable win at Loop Meadow Stadium on Saturday.
It leaves the Railwaymen handily placed in third just a point from the top and with a game in hand over their Oxfordshire rivals.
Didcot, who had already beaten Slough 6-3 away from home, started well with Andy Williams heading a Paul Powell corner over.
Powell then opened the scoring when Michael Bartley headed back across goal and the former Oxford United ace tapped home.
Slough enjoyed plenty of possession but failed to test Michael Watkins in the Didcot goal.
After Rebels' keeper Richard Barnard kept out Bartley, Jack King's 30-yard effort clipped the top of the bar.
Didcot keeper Michael Watkins then saved Christian Metcalfe's long-range effort to preserve his side's lead.
After the break, defender Matt Bicknell doubled Didcot's advantage when he hammered home a free-kick after Bartley was hauled back by Slough's Adrian Browne when clean-through.
Jamie Heapy hacked the ball off the line before King and Powell spurned chances to extend Didcot's lead.
