Vinny Byfield scored a late equaliser as Witney fought back for a share of the spoils in Saturday's Premier Division clash at Culham Road on Saturday in th Hellenic League.

Leading 2-1, after fighting back from a goal down, Abingdon looked to have done enough, only for Byfield to snaych a point for Witney.

Witney went ahead when Andy Marriott's header hit the bar before bouncing in off Gareth Walker's back.

Daniel Meade, who was making his Witney debut, hit the bar.

At the other end, Carl Bloomfield headed wide, before Abingdon levelled through Tom Larman.

After the break, Jon Steedman and Andrew Younie went close for the visitors.

Eight minutes from time, Abingdon took the lead when Aaron Williams headed home after Steedman's free-kick deflected off Younie.

But centre half Byfield crashed home the equaliser in injury time.

Wantage Tn 4 (Langford 3, Hartley 33, 67, Wyatt 73)

Wantage turned in their most solid performance of the season at the league's basement boys.

Ellis Langford fired Wantage ahead, before Luke Alford made a great save from Harrow's Scott Morgan.

That sparked Wantage into life with Gary Hartley doubling their lead at the far post.

In the second half, Hartley netted his second, with substitute MItch Wyatt sealing victory from close range.

Pegasus Juniors 4 (Griffiths 15, Hyde 21 90, Price 90)

AFC Wallingford 3 (Heyday 14 70, Chalmers 86) Two late goals from Pegasus denied AFC Wallingford only their second win of the season.

With five minutes left and 3-2 up Wallingford looked home, only for Pegasus to snatch victory.

Tommy Heyday fired Wallingford ahead only for Pegasus to hit back and take a 2-1 lead.

After the break, Hayday's second and a Brad Chalmers strike restored Wallingford's lead.

Then came Pegasus's late show to wreck Wallingford's hopes.

Bicester Tn 1 (Styles 43 )

Shortwood Utd 0

A first-half strike from Andy Styles was enough to earn victory for Bicester victory against Shortwood.

It extends Town's unbeaten run to seven matches.

A dribble into the box from Ben Williams allowed Styles to score two minutes before the break.

In the second half, Paul Spittle saw a long-range effort kept out by the keeper, before sub Adam Lovegrove was also denied.

Oxford City Nomads 3 (Moses 11, 18, Forbes 25)

Clanfield 3 (McKeon 15, Barker 75 (pen), Olphert 89 )

Steve Olphert's last-minute strike saw Clanfield battled back from 3-1 down against their ten-man rivals to secure a draw in the Division 1 West derby.

Ben Moses's opener for Nomads was cancelled out by Sean McKeon, only for Moses to restore the hosts' lead.

Corry Forbes then made it 3-1 to Nomads after a poor defensive header from Ben Acock.

After the break, Nomads were reduced to ten men when Lee Rendell received a second yellow card.

Dean Barker hit No 3 for City, only for Olphert to grab the equaliser.

After the final whistle, Nomads's Lance Ward was sent off to compound their misery.
