Ian Case (+50) gave New Club the lead beating Roger Tomlin (+50) 150-145, but Doug Baker (+70) levelled against Dave White (+80) 150-144.
In the decider, Bob Hayward (+70) saw off Alan King (+40) 200-160.
Fieldside thrashed CCC B 3-0.
Norman Woodcock (+70) coasted past Brian Mabbutt (+20) 200-123.
Bob Chivers (-30) slammed in breaks of 30 and 34 to thrash John Simpson (+30) 200-111 before Paul Robinson (-50) beat Ken Olive (+60) 200-12.
Thame won their first game for five weeks, a 2-1 success against HCCC A.
Peter Hawkes (-125) won his second game of the season beating Terry Walsh (+90) 150-146.
Peter Brooks (+110) levelled for HCC A against Tom Fletcher (+70) 150-118 despite a 21 break by the latter. Nigel Bossom (+30) saw off Paul Carion (+100) 200-134 in the decider.
