PORTSMOUTH were left feeling aggrieved over a series of penalty appeals in their play-off semi-final first leg with Oxford United.
Marcus Browne cancelled out Ronan Curtis's opener at Fratton Park to leave the tie evenly poised at 1-1 heading into Monday's second leg at the Kassam Stadium.
But refereeing decisions dominated Pompey's post-match reaction.
They had four appeals for spot kicks waved away by referee Gavin Ward and midfielder Bryn Morris reckoned the hosts had a strong case in all of them.
He told The News: "It felt like we deserved three or four penalties - especially that one at the end on Ronan. It was a stonewaller.
"There was the Ellis (Harrison) shout and definitely a handball (against Rob Dickie) in the first half.

"On another day we get them. It’s disappointing but we just have to go again on Monday.
"Yes we did feel hard done by on those but it’s football and we can’t have any excuses come Monday.
"We’ll go again, rest up recover and be raring to go on Monday. I think we’ll have them."
Pompey boss Kenny Jackett was more guarded about the penalty claims.
He said: "There were a couple of (penalty) decisions. There were one or two things which didn’t quite go our way, we understand that.

"It’s not something we can focus on or do anything about now - and I haven’t seen those particular decisions either.
"It doesn't really matter now, it’s not something we can focus on.
"We have to make sure that we put as much pressure on Oxford as we can on Monday night - and they will obviously be looking to do the same to us."
