OXFORD United’s squad has been given another clean bill of health from the latest round of coronavirus testing.
Anyone who came back positive at this stage would have missed at least the first leg of their Sky Bet League One play-off semi-final against Portsmouth.
But United’s head of medical services, Amy Cranston, received the good news over the weekend that all players and staff have been given the all-clear to continue together.
It leaves just one more round of testing – on Wednesday – before Friday night’s game at Fratton Park.

Given the disruption to game plans which could be at stake, boss Karl Robinson admitted it will be a tense moment when the results come in.
United’s head coach said: “They were nervous with the last lot, but Amy dropped me a text late on Saturday night to say the latest batch of tests all came back negative, which was great news for us all.
“We’re in a weird little bubble at the moment because we’ve just been seeing each other.”
So far the U’s have had just two positive tests, with both people long since back into the fold after self-isolating for ten days.
