OXFORD United top scorer Matty Taylor was among a trio of players left out of their line-up against Reading yesterday.
Liam Kelly and Malachi Napa were also omitted as a precaution.
The 2-1 defeat was the side's first warm-up game against external opposition as they build towards the Sky Bet League One play-off semi-final with Portsmouth, starting on July 3.

They continue the preparations with a second game today,
In particular Taylor, who has 17 goals this season, is critical to United's hopes and boss Karl Robinson is not taking any chances.
He said: "We've got no concerns over them, but it's not worth risking them.
"If there was a (competitive) game now they'd all be available."
The other slight concern is over Anthony Forde, who only played ten minutes.
