OXFORD United will face Portsmouth in the Sky Bet League One play-offs after a majority of clubs in the division backed the option to curtail the remaining games.
The U's have always maintained they wanted to play on, but that option became increasingly unlikely as the EFL's consultation process dragged into June.
An overwhelming number across the three divisions approved having the EFL's proposed framework on the ballot paper in a vote this morning.

It was then up to each division to decide which option they wanted and a majority in League One were in favour of curtailing the campaign.
Using an unweighted points per game formula, United finish fourth – their highest placing since 1998/99.

LEAGUE ONE
Promoted: Coventry City, Rotherham United.
Play-offs: Wycombe Wanderers v Fleetwood Town, Oxford United v Portsmouth.
Relegated: Bolton Wanderers, Southend United, Tranmere Rovers.

CHAMPIONSHIP
Clubs have long made it clear they want to play out the remaining games, which will start on June 20.
LEAGUE TWO
Promoted: Swindon Town, Crewe Alexandra, Plymouth Argyle.
Play-offs: Cheltenham Town v Northampton Town, Exeter City v Colchester United.
Relegated: Stevenage.
