OXFORD United are aiming to play a friendly this weekend at the end of their first week back training.
The squad got back to work yesterday in small groups after getting a clean bill of health from the first round of coronavirus tests.
They want to get permission to move on to full contact sessions as quickly as possible, with the EFL meeting today to discuss how the season is concluded.

And head coach Karl Robinson is keen to throw them into a behind closed doors game on Saturday if they get the go-ahead.
He told the club's website: "It's the first step and hopefully we get to stage two quickly in midweek.
"Hopefully we've got a game on Saturday away to a Championship team, so it all happens very quickly.
"But the players' fitness levels from the testing we've done so far have been very good."
Karl’s first interview back on the training pitches. If you can’t tell, he’s happy about it 😃 #OUFC
