Oxford City's John Exley shone for England at the British and Irish Veterans International Cross Country Championships in the grounds of Stormont Castle in Belfast.
Selected for England in the vet 60 category, Exley pulled away from the field to lead by the end of the first lap.
He came under heavy pressure from Scotland's Ken Duncan, but Exley finally shook him off to win the race by more than half a minute in 32mins 11secs.
Exley's City clubmates Steve Male and Brian Green also made the trip to Northern Ireland, Male finishing eighth in the vet 40 race, clocking 28.30 and Green tenth in the vet 50 category, crossing the line in 30.56.
- Paul Fernandez led home his Abingdon Amblers teammates in the senior men's race at the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Cross Country Championships at Newbury racecourse.
Fernandez just edged out youngster Steve Copley to finish tenth in 32mins 38secs, Copley finishing one place and six seconds behind.
The juniors also put in some good performances, Lilian Webb clocking 13.44 to finish 11th in the under 13 girls' race.

Under 13 boys: 15 O Stepney 14.54.
Under 15 boys: 11 J Beech 15.00.
- Eynsham Roadrunners' stage the Eynsham 10K on Sunday.
They have reached the entry limit of 600, so will be unable to accept any entries on the day.
The race incorporates the Oxfordshire 10K championship and is also the final round of the 2007 Oxfordshire Grand Prix series.
