After going behind to a try, Dylan Alexander levelled, with Toby Henry slotting the conversion, before extending Oxford's lead with a penalty.
A Loughborough penalty reduced Oxford's lead.
After the break, the hosts regained the lead with a penalty and an unconverted try.
A Rupert Allhusen try brought them within a point, before Tom Gregory's try, converted by Henry, restored Dark Blues' advantage.
A Henry penalty and Winston Cowie's unconverted try completed the recovery.
