A brace from the in-form Dean Barker - his 12th and 13th goals of the season - gave Clanfield victory in a thrilling Division 1 West game on Saturday.

Saracens opened the scoring through Andy Sherlock, but Clanfield equalised with a 25-yard free-kick from Barker.

Clanfield regained the lead when Barker crossed for Chris Hunt to score with a bullet of a header, and it was soon 3-1 when Tim Jenkins's cross fell for Barker to add his second.

Within 60 seconds, Sherlock scored for Saracens, who had Steve Hughes sent off for a two-footed challenge on Tim Jenkins.

The young Nomads team could consider themselves unlucky to come away from high-flying Winterbourne with only a point.

The physically strong hosts scored when the prolific Jamie Potts netted.

Nomads' Ben Moses was sent off following a melee in the second half.

Undeterred, the visitors hit back when Mane McKenzie finished clinically from 20 yards after being put through by Matt Molten.
