Three matches in a week have seen Witney A move top of the Gentworks Oxford & District League Premier Division.
However, Witney did not have it all their own way, as their first match, against New Club, ended in a 3-3 draw.
Things looked bleak for New Club after Alan Mander had lost to Gavin Wright and Justin Shepherd had drawn with Ben Calcutt.
But heroics from Ian Gee saw him defeat Justin Buckingham to earn a draw.
In their other two games, Witney defeated Riley A 5-1 and 4-2, and there were big breaks in both matches.
In the 5-1 success, Buckingham had a 49 clearance, while Lewis Calcutt hit an 88 break in frame two.
In the other match, Wright rattled in a 71, while Buckingham recorded a break of 54.
Fieldside defeated Riley C 5-1 to stay second, while Riley D moved up to third with a 5-1 win against New Club and a 4-2 victory against Riley B.
Oracle A moved top of Division 1, despite managing only a 3-3 draw against Riley E.
They raced into a 3-0 lead, Jamie Saczak making a break of 40 during his victory against Robert Adkins.
Matty Bramall and Wayne Reddy traded the next two frames, before Rob Franklin secured the draw with victory over Kevin Higgs.
Thame A drew 3-3 against Woodstock A, with Paul Evans making a break of 56 and Martin Cone 63.
