Joe Canlan-Shaw set City of Oxford on their way to an impressive third place in a tough competition at the second round of the Speedo League at Temple Cowley pools.
Portsmouth Northsea and Amersham finished first and second, but City put in a fine all-round team performance.
Canlan-Shaw kicked off the evening with a superb victory in the first event, the men's Open individual medley, winning by a six-second margin in a time of 2.09.46.
Teammate Peter Button's impressive 100m breaststroke, clinched another first place in the Open category, while the men's Open medley relay comprising Dave Denny, Chris Aust, Matthew Corbett and David Norridge were just edged into second after a superb final leg.
In the 15 and under age group, Sam van de Schootbrugge earned 16 valuable points with victories in the 100m butterfly and breaststroke.
He then teamed up with Drew Finnigan, Alex Jenkinson and Ben Chapman as City finished second in the medley relay.
Thomas Papagella won the 13 and under 100m butterfly race, while Millie Royal, Matilda Shearer, Lucy Smith and Emma Lomas were superb in their girls' 11 and under freestyle relay.
Thomas Ruddel (11 and under 50m), Finnigan (15 and under 100m) and David Denny (open 100m) all grabbed third places in their events.
The evening finished with an exhilarating 6x100m men's Open freestyle relay in which Aust, Denny, Button, Corbett, Norridge and Canlan-Shaw were robbed of victory by just 16 hundredths of a second.

- Witney consolidated their position in the top half of Division 2 of the West Midlands Speedo League following a good team performance at Coventry.
Yolanda Speare, 14, produced a superb swim to take victory in the girls' 15 and under backstroke to earn herself the club's swimmer-of-the-match award.
Anneliese Whiteley had a comfortable victory in the girls' 15 and under breaststroke, while ten-year-old Marc Colling clocked a personal best in the boys' 11 and under butterfly.
In the relay events, Witney ladies showed won their medley relay following excellent efforts from Isobel Macdonald, Rosie Owen, Kitty Gorman and Keale Ashton.
The juniors produced the same result in the 11 and under age group with fine swims from Ottilie Uden, Chloe Smith, Ellen Moore, and Daisy Merriman.
