FC Chequers Res produced the shock of the first round by beating Aston Res 3-2 in a penalty shoot-out after the tie ended 3-3 after extra time.

A brace from Craig Walker and a Tim Green strike looked to have won the game for third division Aston.

But Olly Smith's double and Anthony Barlow's goal sent the match into extra time.

After no further goals, Division 4 side Chequers held their nerve in the shoot-out.

Ian Lewis scored a hat-trick as Ducklington Res demolished Southrop Res 8-2.

Ian Luckett (2), Ian Peedle, Wayne Evans and David Barker also netted, with David Hurp and Adam Haywood replying.

Brize Norton Res edged to a 4-2 extra-time win against FC Mills Res.

It was 2-2 after 90 minutes with Simon Balham and Rob Debanks on target for Mills and Steve Morgan and an own goal levelling the match.

In extra time, Matthew Howard and Rob Marsh netted to put Brize through.

Ten-man Charlbury Town Res saw off Witney Royals Res 4-3.

Their goals came from Ben Godfrey, Mark Deller, Kevin Duester and Ian Jarvis, with Loyd Edwards, Mike Piper and Ryan Cook replying.

Eddie Dunn, Gary Smith and Martin Latimer netted for Minster Lovell Res in a 3-1 win over Milton Res.

Arrun Baker was the Milton marksman.

Dan Smith hit a hat-trick as Hanborough Res crushed Spartan Rangers Res 6-1.

Chris Leach, Aston Leach and Ryan Duester also scored, with Craig Halkett replying.

Dan Oyston's extra-time goal gave Bampton Town Res a 3-2 win against Freeland Res.

Lee Walton and Any Tabis had netted for Freeland, but Oyston (2) and Tom Madden gave Bampton victory.
