GORING Robins shocked Stanford-in-the-Vale by coming back from 4-0 down at half-time to win their Oxford Mail Youth League Under 15 Knockout Trophy final on penalties after a 5-5 draw.
Two goals in the final ten minutes made it 4-4 after 90 minutes, before they equalised Stanford’s fifth goal at the end of extra time.
Felix Kind scored a hat-trick for Goring, while George Herbert and James Norris were also on target.
With their tails up, they were 2-0 up after two spot-kicks each.
Goring slammed home their third penalty to win the shoot-out 3-0 and retain their title.
