BERINSFIELD extended their lead at the top of Division 1 as they came away from Cholsey United with a 4-0 victory on Saturday, writes RICHARD UNDERWOOD.
Two goals from Max Palmer, plus further strikes from David Murphy and Reece Wain gave Berinsfield the points.
There was a comfortable victory for Division 2 leaders Saxton Rovers Res as they hammered Lambourn Sports Res 6-1.
Saxton had six different goalscorers as Josh Harper, Harry Winn, George Goodenough, Charlie Boyce, Michael Smith and Paul Churchouse all found the net.
Jake Allen replied for Lambourn with a consolation.
Long Wittenham Athletic Res stayed second after a 2-0 win over Marcham, with goals from Joe Webster and Steve Malloy.
Sutton Courtenay romped to an 8-1 win over Hanney 66 Club in Division 3.
Jonny Lloyd hit a four-timer, with Marcus Hooke, Simon Carter, Rhys Griffiths and Dom Lovegrove completing the scoring.
Aaron Ritchie netted Hanney’s reply.
- GROVE Rangers reached the final of the War Memorial Cup as they hammered hosts Kingston Colts 5-0.
Jamie Dutton, Ollie O’Hanlon, Adam Bruce, Josh Cottrell and Ross Luney scored their goals.
Grove will meet fellow Division 2 side Dorchester in the final after they beat Letcombe Res 2-0, Adam Fairhurst and Zac Corderoy scoring the goals.
In an all-Division 1 clash in the North Berks League Cup quarter-finals, Hagbourne United squeezed through to the last four 4-3 on penalties after drawing 0-0 at Drayton.
They will meet either Watlington Town or Berinsfield in the semi-finals.
