Oxford City are sweating on the fitness of Jon Gardner ahead of Tuesday night's British Gas Business Southern League Division 1 South & West home game against Marlow.
The goalscoring winger is struggling with the ankle ligament strain that forced him to miss Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Windsor & Eton.
Mark Jones (hamstring tear) is again ruled out. Mark Janes and Lee Rendell are added to the squad.
"Although we lost on Saturday, I was pleased with the hard work and attitude as a team," said player-boss Justin Merritt.
"In previous games, we have had plenty of quality, but have been lacking in hard work.
"If we can play like we did on Saturday we will win more games than we lose."
Oxford City (v Marlow, home): from Smith, Saulsbury, Davis, Gunn, Pond, Avery, Bell, Malone, McSporran, Stewart, Redknap, Janes, Rendell, Cattell, Merritt.
ABINGDON United travel to Burnham in the second round of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup.
