Oxford Harlequins produced a lacklustre display to lose 25-8 at Weston-super-Mare in South West 1 - just a week after turning on the style to thrash St Ives.
Quins only burst into life in the final ten minutes, by which time it was too late.
Full back Pete Davies gave them the lead with an early penalty, but Weston hooker Dave Burge was driven over after 11 minutes.
Quins lost wing Justin Henley with a broken nose and loose-head prop Nick Goodger to the sin bin.
Visiting centres Beau Wilson and Andy Henley both went close, but when the latter was stopped just short, right wing Chris Crichton ran the length of the field to score.
Fly half Mark Armstrong converted and it got worse for Quins just after the break when poor tackling allowed left wing Paul Sprague in for a soft try.
The visiting pack battled for possession, but were living off scraps.
On 69 minutes, Crichton sped away for his second try to make it 22-3.
Sprague was yellow-carded and Quins suddenly got going.
They were held up three times before Wilson burst through to score, but Armstrong completed the scoring with a penalty.
