Bicester went second on points difference in the BB&O Premier Division after a 35-17 victory at Gosford All Blacks.
Flanker Martin Linstrom, returning just two weeks after a serious eye injury, starred with two tries in an excellent display.
A weakened Gosford side showed spirit in defeat, but suffered a poor start with Bicester full back Paul Leverton sneaking over after four minutes.
Linstrom scored on 20 minutes, Steve Risbridger converting.
Marc Grant and Liam Beesley threatened for Gosford before Murray Stewart slotted a penalty.
Bicester scored again on the stroke of half-time when Chris Nash sent wing Dan Spencer in for a try on the left.
Leigh Rushworth made it 22-3 just after the break, but Gosford pulled it back to 25-17.
First centre Brendon Van Der Hoek dived over, then scrum half Kye Clutton crossed, with Stewart converting both.
In between Dan Spencer slotted a penalty for Bicester, who then eased home with late tries from Nash and Linstrom.
Chipping Norton opened up a four-point gap at the top after winning 34-8 at Drifters.
Chippy started the brighter, scoring out wide through Craig Korszewski.
From the restart Chippy again moved the ball well and after several phases of quick ball, Tom Hall crossed under the posts, Adam Smith adding the extras.
Drifters scored in the corner, but quick tries from Hall and Simon Hawken plus a Smith conversion put Chippy 24-5 up at the break.
Smith slotted a penalty, which Drifters matched before Jon Hickman bagged Chippy's final try, Smith converting.
Oxford came from behind to win 27-17 at struggling neighbours Wheatley.
Wheatley scored an early pushover try before Oxford's Adam Thompson replied with a penalty.
The hosts increased their lead with a pitch-long interception try and conversion.
Then Oxford's Dominic Clarke scampered over to score after a break in the centre, and Thompson converted.
Wheatley scored another interception try after the break, but Oxford sealed it with tries from Alex Geddes and Lewis Taylor.
Thompson converted both and a second penalty.
Abingdon collapsed to a 28-7 defeat at Stow-on-the-Wold.
T Turner scored their try with Steve Pearce converting.
