OXFORD United have recalled Rob Atkinson from his loan at Eastleigh.
The centre back was signed from the Hampshire club in January, but the plan was to send him back for the rest of the Vanarama National League campaign.
However, with United's defensive resources stretched by an injury to John Mousinho and a potential suspension to Rob Dickie, the decision has been made to bring Atkinson, 21, back as cover.
U's boss Karl Robinson told the club's website: "Rob has done well in training and we have watched him for Eastleigh too.

"As well as Mous being injured we have Rob Dickie just one yellow card away from a suspension.
"Elliott Moore's partner is also expecting their first baby in the next couple of weeks so it makes perfect sense to have Rob here and for him to be in and around the squad."
Atkinson is available to feature against Accrington Stanley tomorrow night if required.
