Bracknell Tn 2 (McClurg 48, Lewis 67 pen)
Didcot Tn 3 (King 2 pen, 69, Vine 6)
MIDFIELDER Jack King was on the scoresheet for the sixth successive game with a brace - including a stunning 35-yard winner - as Didcot Town triumphed at Bracknell in Division 1 South & West.
The Railwaymen were slightly fortunate to be awarded a penalty in the second minute when Michael Buck was adjudged to have hauled down Michael Bartley, and King made no mistake from the spot.
Didcot made it 2-0 with a brilliant goal four minutes later. Richard Witt found King on the edge of the box, and his reverse pass was volleyed home by Ashley Vine.
Bracknell, still without a win this season, were handed a great chance to get back in the game when Vine was penalised for a shove on Billy Matthews in the Didcot box.
But Graham Lewis fired his spot-kick well wide.
Shortly afterwards Lee Farrow, making his Didcot debut in goal, had to be alert to block Ben Edwards as he burst into the box.
Didcot almost grabbed a third when Grant Goodall's cross thudded against the crossbar, and then Vine had another effort bravely blocked by Matthews.
Bracknell hit back with a well-taken goal from Jamie McClurg three minutes into the second half.
And they were level in the 67th minute after Farrow brought down Lewis.
The Didcot keeper turned Lewis's first spot-kick round a post, but was was harshly adjudged to have moved off his line, and Lewis fired home the retaken penalty.
However, Didcot were back ahead two minutes later through King's cracking free-kick.
Didcot Tn: Farrow, Goodall, Jack, Heapy, Davis, Parrott, Witt (Peirson 84), King, Bartley, Vine, Hope (Bicknell 60).
