A late goal from Michael Chennels sent Oxford City spinning to a 1-0 defeat at Windsor in Division 1 South & West.
Chennels got behind City's defence in the 79th minute, before drilling in a shot off the inside of a post.
It capped a disappointing day for City, who could have fall behind early on when Liam Grier volleyed over.
However, it City who should have taken the lead, George Redknap screwing a shot well wide after being set up by Mark Bell.
Jermaine McSporran then raced clear only to fire his effort past the far post.
Windsor's Martin Williams struck a powerful free-kick that rebounded off keeper Steve Smith, who then turned Matt Seedel's follow-up over for a corner.
It was poor fare for spectators with passes often going astray.
The nearest City came to scoring in the second half was when Alex Stewart just failed to get a touch to Bell's cross.
It was clear one goal was going to be enough to settle the game, and Chennels' strike proved just that.
Oxford City: Smith, Saulsbury, Davis, Gunn, Pond, Avery, Bell, Malone, McSporran, Stewart, Redknap (James 82).
Referee: L Pinto Nunes.
