All eyes will be on Bob Gillings Reading raider Brickfield Class in the final of the Blanchfords Oxfordshire Trophy final over 450 metres at Oxford tonight.
The black dog pulverised his field in the opening heat on Tuesday after showing smart early pace and going on to beat Heaslips Hawk by five and a quarter lengths in a blistering 26.70.
His rivals never got anywhere near that time on Tuesday, and if he traps tonight from the unfavourable orange jacket, class dogs trap from any position, he should be home and dry.
Oxford hopes are Droopys Kolo and Appleford Al. The main event is supported by the Ronseal Stakes and Blanchfords Supplies Stakes.
