Rutherford stormed to the top of Oxford & DTTA Division 1 with convincing wins over Lord Nuffield A and Vikings A.
Chris Rowlatt and Neil Hurford both hit maximums in the 8-2 successs against Lord Nuffield, while Glen Freeman took on the leading role in the 7-3 success against Vikings A.
Forum A won a keenly-contested match against Vikings A 6-4, and so matched Rutherford on four wins out of four, but are second on points difference.
Vikings came close to upsetting Forum as Vitto Ferrari and Gareth Hayward both won two, and it was left to Karl Bushell to secure a maximum to keep Forum on top St James could only muster a two-man team, but Andy Misseldine chalked up his customary maximum and Brian Hamilton chipped in with two wins to force a draw with Bicester A.Forum B still find themselves in the wrong half of the table, but a 10-0 win over Lord Nuffield B will do them no harm.
Vikings B extended their lead at the top of Division 2 by beating Haddenham A 6-4. Eamonn Deeley was the top man for Vikings again, but was well supported by two wins for Paul Borrowdale. Vikings D stayed top of Diviison 3, beating Vikings C 6-4, despite maximum by Ricki Whiteaway.
