New Club stretched their lead at the top of Division 1 after they recorded their third successive victory in the Oxford & District League.
Their 2-1 success over Oracle made it seven wins in eight outings, and they have opened up a three-point gap at the top.
Dave White (+80) gave New Club the perfect start when he eased past Jack Woods (+80) 150-106, despite Woods opening with a 25 break.
Alan King (+40) made it 2-0 when he crushed Richard Connerty (+50) 200-132.
However, Gordon Cook (+100) then held off Alan Mander (+70) 150-145 to get Oracle a point.
Fieldside kept up the pressure with a 2-1 win at Headington Con A.
Peter Brooks (+110) gave Headington the lead when he overcame Norman Woodcock (+70) 190-150.
But Fieldside took the next two games when Paul Robinson (+50) beat Terry Walsh (+90) 200-171, and Bob Chivers (-30) pipped John Williams (+70) 200-191.
Division 2 leaders Cowley Con B beat Riley 2-1, while their A team colleagues hammered Ashton 3-0, both playing at home.
Allan Copelin (+90) won the opener for Riley's against Cowley B's Ken Olive (+60) 150-136.
Brian Mabbutt (+20) was in sparkling form to end Malcolm Bough's (+70) winning streak by 200-124 helped by a 43 break.
John Simpson (+50) then made a superb 53 break to see off Gary Bough (+70) 200-148.
On the adjacent table, Arthur Coakley (+90) put Cowley Con in the lead by out-scoring Keith Maskens (+50) 150-132.
Dick Hashman (-10) made it 2-0 by easing past Pete Fenn (+50) 200-123 with breaks of 26, 29 and 32.
And Keith Pearce (+60) completed the whitewash by defeating Terry Chambers (-10) 200-158.
Morris Motors fought back from a game down to beat Eynsham 2-1.
Geoff Watson (+90) beat Roger Tomlin (+50) 150-145 to put Eynsham in front, but Doug Baker (+70) beat Mick McCluskey (+90) 150-107 and Bob Hayward (scr) saw off Roy Gascoyne (+110) 150-127.
