Witney A completed the double over leaders Fieldside A with a 4-2 success to close to gap in the Premier Division of the Gentworks Oxford & District Snooker League.
The result means that Witney remain unbeaten and are now only five points behind Fieldside, with two matches in hand.
A 47 clearance saw Witney's Lewis Calcutt snatch the opening frame from Karl Walker, with the latter responding to take frame two.
Mick Bennett beat Justin Buckingham (pictured) in the third frame to give Fieldside the lead, but then narrowly lost the fourth.
Gavin Wright secured Witney's success with a 2-0 victory against Paul Robinson.
New Club A won for only the second time this season with a 5-1 win against bottom-of-the-table Riley C.
A break of 36 helped Alan Mander beat Matty Challon to put New Club 2-0 before Justin Shepherd completed victory against Thiago Muratori.
Riley A slipped up with defeat against stablemates Riley D. Ron Reddy had no answer to Andy MacBryan in the final two deciding frames Oracle A missed the chance to top Division 1 when they were held to a draw by Woodstock A.
Dave Noake beat Stuart Reeve to give Oracle a 2-0 lead, but this was cancelled out when Justin Page got the better of stand-in Tim Crysell.
Priyan Shah then put Woodstock ahead when he beat Jamie Saczak in the fifth frame, but Saczak hit back to snatch the final frame.
