MORE than 3,500 Oxford United fans are set to back their side at Newcastle United on Saturday.
The club reported this morning that away ticket sales for the Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie had passed the figure.
It means the overall crowd at St James' Park is expected to exceed 40,000.

United's away following has also surpassed the 3,376 supporters that travelled to Middlesbrough in the fifth round of the Cup in 2017.
It is now the U's highest turnout on the road since 3,892 fans travelled to MK Dons in Sky Bet League One in September 2016.
Tickets can be bought until 3pm on Friday, with none available on the day.
