Headington Athletic moved up to fifth in the Thames Valley League Division 1 table with a comfortable 6-1 win against local rivals Oxford United Reserves.

Sarah Newport helped herself to a hat-trick, while ex-United player Nat Creed grabbed a brace.

Asa Jufvas scored Headington's other goal.

The pick of the strikes saw Rhiannon Furr and Newport combine to set up Creed.

United's late consolation goal was scored by Cayla Davies.

Kelly Matthews bagged a five-timer as Brize Norton ran riot to beat MK Wanderers 7-0 in Division 3.

Emma Meredith fired Brize in front, then Matthews doubled the lead.

Sue Polly and Matthews made it 4-0 before the break, before the latter completed her hat-trick for No 5.

Two more goals from Matthews completed the rout.

Oxford City won 2-1 at Bracknell Town in the Southern Region League Premier Division.

Rachel Catling and Michelle Robinson were on target on a muddy pitch.

In Division 1, Carterton thrashed Newport Pagnall 5-1.
