A double from Wayne Desmond helped Rover Cowley stretch their unbeaten Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division run to eight games with a 4-1 win at Horspath.

Matty Hambridge fired them ahead with a free-kick from the edge of the area.

After the break, Desmond doubled Rover's lead, before Drew Fowler bagged No 3.

Desmond then completed his haul. Andy Kirtland clawed one back with a volley from a tight angle, but it was too late.

Stonesfield fought back from a goal down to beat Eynsham 2-1.

Matt Tarry levelled with a header from a corner after Eynsham had taken a 13th-minute lead.

Liam Boggs gave Oxford the lead, only for James Boys and Jason Smith to give Sutton the advantage.

But a Jon Ramsey penalty and a Dean Joseph strike saw Oxford seal the points.

Mark Scanes scored the second-half winner for Garsington Res as they beat Charlton 1-0.
