CHRIS Cadden has thanked Oxford United after his loan spell officially came to an end.
The right back joined on a season-long deal in July, but it included a recall clause which parent club Columbus Crew have activated.
Cadden, 23, was a popular figure and played his part in a successful season so far for the U's, starting 23 games.
He told the club's website: “I have loved my time at Oxford.
"It’s a brilliant club and I want to thank the gaffer, the players and staff and especially the fans who have been unbelievable ever since I arrived.
"I’m looking forward to my new adventure but I want to wish Oxford the very best for the future.
"The fans deserve success and I believe they have the right people to lead them to that this season.”
