Leaders Chinnor had to come from behind to win 26-22 at Cleve.
The visitors, who had to make five changes, trailed 16-0 at the break, but fought back for a deserved victory.
Chinnor were unable to get their hands on the ball for the first 15 minutes and were soon 9-0 down thanks to three penalties from Matt Spencer.
A well worked try from Dan Ajuwa, converted by Spencer, made it 16-0.
Chinnor got back into the game after 30 minutes when Jaike Carter made ground on the right wing and fed the ever-present Zane Winslade to score wide out.
Fly half James Cathcart added the conversion, but Chinnor then spurned a kick in front of the posts and were held up just short of the line.
Chinnor began the second half in storming style with Owen Gustafson's break allowing prop Tom Whelan to force his way over for his first try in three years.
With Cathcart adding the extras, Chinnor were back in the hunt.
But they saw flanker Andrew McGuire sin-binned and Spencer slot two more penalties.
Two flashes of top-drawer rugby then won the game for Chinnor, with full back Ben Hewitt creating both.
He finished the first himself and set up wing Pip Seymour for the second, Cathcart converting.
Chinnor had lock Andy Millburn yellow-carded on 73 minutes, but managed to hold on.
Young prop Robert Baker proved crucial in this period, scrummaging well with their pack down to seven men.
