Two late tries helped Witney to a 34-10 victory at home to Newbury Stags in Southern Counties North.
Witney forced Newbury back early on and wing Ben Rollinson scampered over.
A Phil Gouldie try made it 10-5 and Witney struck just before the break when scrum half Gareth Campbell burrowed over for try No 3.
Witney looked to have wrapped up victory when Gareth Campbell stretched over for his second try, but Newbury kept battling and scored a fine try through their winger.
It was only delaying the inevitable, however. Witney No 8 Carl Campbell charged down a kick and showed surprising pace to run in for Henry Lamb to convert. And Lamb completing the scoring by converting his own try.
Wallingford went second after winning 29-23 at Swindon.
The visitors scored first when scrum half Derek Viljeon put away wing Elliot Simons.
Shortly afterwards, Wallingford's Mike Turner found space and literally jogged under the posts for Pete Strang to convert.
Swindon managed a penalty, but Wallingford went further ahead when hooker Tom Hill scored after Henry Venners' break and Strang converted.
A catch-and-drive try, plus two penalties, gave Swindon hope at the break, but Wallingford scored again when replacement Neil Bird fed Simons for his second try of the day.
Although Swindon managed two more unconverted scores, wing Nick Risk's try in between proved decisive for Wallingford.
