Oxford City 4 (Stewart 14, 16, Bell 56, McSporran 83)
Winchester 0
Alex Stewart's brace set up a comfortable victory for Oxford City in Division 1 South & West on Saturday.
But for the woodwork, City's winning margin could have been far greater as they dominated proceedings at Court Place Farm.
Jermaine McSporran might have put the home side in front within five minutes, but hewas denied by Clint Davies in the Winchester goal.
However, City went in front on 14 minutes.
Good work from Jon Gardner and Mark Jones allowed Stewart to fire home on 14 minutes.
Two minutes later, the same trio created a second goal as Stewart doubled the lead.
Very little was seen of the Winchester attack, their only worthwhile opportunity coming as Steve Smith saved a Brett Williams effort.
In the second half, City stretched their lead on 56 minutes.
A cross from James Saulsbury was headed against the bar by Stewart, but substitute Mark Bell followed up to fire home the rebound.
Andy Gunn saw a header hit a post, while Bell put in a rasping shot that was tipped over by Davies.
Seven minutes from time, McSporran's vision saw him curl a shot beyond the reach of the Winchester keeper for No 4 to wrap up a comfortable win.
