OSCAR Griffiths fired a
hat-trick as Kennington Athletic moved to second in the Oxfordshire Senior League’s Premier Division.
Robert Fathers was also on target for the home side, who cashed in while several rivals were involved in cup action with a 4-2 win against Launton Sports.
Josh Hupalo and Darius Horton replied for Launton.
Marston Saints went third after they beat Bicester United 4-1, Ben Green (2) and Tai Thomas among Saints scorers.
Bicester’s consolation came through Rowan Chappell.

Launton Sports Res were 3-2 victors in the only game in Division 2, against Garsington Res.
Bryan Gomez scored the winner late on for Launton, Leighton Brandon and Tremayne Barrett netting for Garsington.
In the Presidents Cup first round, Horspath beat Garsington 6-2.
Diogo Campos (2), Neil Lockhart, Sam Gordon, Jordan Reid and Simon Evans were all on target for the hosts.
Mansfield Road came out on top in their game against Middleton Cheney 4-3, while Freeland won 2-0 away at Eynsham Association.
There was one game in the Clarendon Cup first round, Chesterton Res winning 3-1 against Charlton United Res.
Steve Jalowick, Glenn Holmes and Dan Carr sealed the win, while Aidan Gordon hit Charlton’s goal.
In the Oxfordshire Charity Cup second round, Cropedy came from behind to win 3-2 at Yarnton.
Dan Reeves (2) and Sean Snelling netted, after James Bateman and Slavyan Atanasov had given Yarnton the lead.
Hanborough are through after a 5-3 win against Summertown Stars.
