OXFORD Hawks moved third in the Investec Conference West division after a 5-1 win at the University of Bristol.
Goals from Catherine Reaney (2), Becca Edwards, Caro Harris and Claire Werlinger secured a fine victory.
They remain three points behind leaders Surbiton and two behind Exe, although have two games in hand over the second-placed side.
They moved above Oxford University, who lost 3-1 at Exe.
Witney went down 3-1 to Hampstead and Westminster in South League Division 1.
Ellie Norton scored their sole goal.
Oxford enjoyed a 4-0 success at Wanderers in Division 2.
Rachael Lammey converted a Clare Shaw cross to put the visitors ahead.
They doubled their lead before the interval when Amy Litchfield found the net.
A fine individual effort from Beth Williamson made it 3-0 after the break, with Litchfield bagging her second late on to seal an emphatic success.
Oxford Hawks were well beaten by high-flying Sevenoaks in Men’s Division 1 South, going down 4-0 at home.
The visitors, who were stronger in all aspects of the game, went ahead in the seventh minute after Hawks had given the ball away.
Their lead was doubled just before the break from another error.
And two more goals in the second period sealed victory and leaves Hawks just one place off the bottom of the league table.
Oxford Hawks 2nd went down 3-1 at Marlow in Division 1 of the MBB&O league – Freddie Smith’s strike proving in vain.
Oxford OBU’s South League Premier Division 2 West game was postponed due to the weather, as was Witney’s clash in MBB&O Division 2.
