Cherwell brought home an impressive haul of medals from the Oxfordshire Invidividual apparatus final, held at the Phoenix Gym in Maidenhead.
Nine girls from the club competed, and the day proved a tremendous success as they came away with nine medals and a trophy for the best beam performance of the day.
The trophy went to eight-year-old Hanna Roslan, whose elegant performance produced the highest score of the day on any apparatus.
Hanna also took gold for the vault, while eight-year-old Honnor Layton produced a superb routine to clinch gold on the bars.
Cherwell coach Hazel Field said: "I am extremely proud of the girls.
"We are very limited in terms of training hours and space, so their achievements are remarkable."
Carterton's youngsters were not far behind Cherwell at the same event, winning eight medals.
They won four gold, two silver and two bronze, with fine routines on the beam and floor.
Maddy Crossley led the way, taking gold on beam and floor.
Ellie Nutt also claimed gold on the floor, as did Georgina Money, only two weeks after suffering a neck injury.
Ella Mead won silver on the floor, while Nutt took a silver for an elegant beam routine.
The two bronze medals were won by Ella Frost for strong beam and floor routines.
- Cherwell, based at the Cherwell North site, are run by a group of volunteers.
But the lack of a permanent facility in the county makes it hard for gymnasts to train, and so the club are searching for a site for a full-time facility.
Cherwell are also looking for people interested in learning to coach.
Those interested can contact Sarah Fry on 01993 774775.
