Witney United assistant boss Andy Leach says the future looks rosy, if the standard of their youngsters is anything to go by.

One such player is Jed Riddy, 17, who scored a brace - his first goals for the club - in their 4-1 midweek Floodlit Cup against Harrow Hill.

He keeps his place when they host Shrivenham tomorrow.

Leach said: "Jed has bags of pace and is so robust.

"We have a lot of young lads knocking on the door.

"Clubs often look around and pay big money for good strikers, but we seem to have one right under our noses."
