JONNY Cater says Oxfordshire are heading to Devon in high spirits for their Unicorns Counties Championship clash.
Three wins on the bounce in the Western Division has seen Oxon climb to second in the table behind Berkshire.
Although Cater’s side are forced into making four changes, the run of form has left everyone on a high.
“The three successive wins means everyone is full of confidence,” he said.
“We know we cannot afford to let up, but things are going very well at the moment.”
Oxford Downs captain George Sandbach is back after missing the victory over Herefordshire, with Oxford all-rounder Ollie Price and seamers Joe Butcher (Abingdon Vale) and Russell White (Buckingham) also in.
“We’ve got a squad of about 15 or 16 now that we can call on knowing they will perform,” Cater said. “That’s one of the big positive changes over the last three years or so.”
Oxfordshire: J Cater (capt) (Buckingham), G Andrew (Ombersley), J Butcher (Abingdon), O Clarke (Banbury), T Cosford (Horspath), R Kaufman (Old Northamptonians), O Price (Oxford), G Sandbach (Oxford Downs), H Smith (Leamington), M Warner (Chesham), R White (Buckingham).
