MALACHI Napa is due to have an operation this morning after X-rays showed he suffered a broken leg last night.
The Oxford United forward was carried off in the first half of their Carabao Cup victory against Peterborough United.
After receiving treatment on the pitch he was taken straight to hospital, where the U's fears over a broken right leg were confirmed.
Boss Karl Robinson, who visited Napa in hospital after the game, told the club's website: "He is a very positive young man.
"He knows that we have a fantastic medical and physio team who will do all they can to help him.
"As a club we will be there for him and will give him all the support he needs.”
