OXFORD Cavaliers ended their regular season with a heavy loss at Reading Raiders.
The Merton-based side went down 76-12 at the West of England League leaders, who also won the Thames Valley Cup.
Cavaliers finished third in the table with four wins from their ten games and will now face Cheltenham Phoenix in the Plate final at Trowbridge RFC on Sunday.
Injuries and unavailability once against hampered the side against Reading.
Cavaliers travelled with just 13 men and scored a try in each half, Samson Earle crossing twice, with Reiss O’Callaghan Howard converting both.
