BANBURY lifted the Home Counties Premier League T20 crown after a superb display at Amersham.
A comfortable victory over Finchampstead set up a clash with Henley in the final, who top the Division 1 table.
But Banbury produced a clinical display with both bat and ball to secure an eight-run win.
In their last four clash, Banbury finished their 20 overs on 185-6.
And they wasted little time in ripping through the Finchampstead top order, bowling out their rivals for just 61 to seal a
124-run victory.
In the final, Banbury made a good start with the bat, reaching 83-1 after 12 overs.
Lloyd Sabin fell for 62, but Olly Clarke stood firm, ending on 81 not out as they closed on 174-2.
Henley were 72-2 off nine overs.
But needing 14 off the final over, Banbury held their nerve to secure a thrilling victory.
They now go on to the first national stage in Leicester on Sunday, July 28, where the winners of the Leicester, Nottingham and Birmingham Premier Leagues will be their opponents.
