OXFORD players top the charts after the first month of the season following their 100 per cent start in Division 2.
They boast the leading run-scorer and top wicket-taker of the Oxfordshire sides after the opening weeks of the Home Counties Premier League campaign.
Muhammad Ayub, who played one Test match for Pakistan in 2012, sets the early pace in the runs department with 184, thanks to two half-centuries, including 92 in Oxford’s win against Burnham last weekend.
Captain Jamie Perkin is under no illusions about how important the 39-year-old is to his side.
He said: "Mo is key for us, with his experience and understanding of the match situation.
"Obviously he's played Test cricket for Pakistan, so you would expect him to be high quality and we're extremely lucky to have him."
Aston Rowant captain Josh Smith, who hammered 127 in Division 1 on the opening day, is second with 179, while Oxford’s Calvin Dickinson, thanks to his 128 against Amersham, is third on 135.
Spinner Harvey Eltham is the leading wicket-taker.
The Oxford all-rounder claimed eight victims.
He leads teammate Chris Humphreys and Oxford Downs skipper George Sandbach, the latter of whom claimed 5-19 against Wokingham in Division 2.
