OXFORD United’s staff have now all been paid the wages which had been due on Friday, the Oxford Mail understands.

The club’s offices, including the ticket office at the Kassam Stadium and the two shops, were closed on Monday, but are expected to be open as normal today.

United said they were only able to pay the players last week, after the transfer of funds from Asia was held up by compliance checks.

But after being cleared they were received by the club on Monday morning, who then paid the outstanding salaries to the staff.
