A double from Alex Stewart sent Oxford City into round two of the Errea Cup with a 4-2 win against previously undefeated Fleet Town.
Mark Jones and Stewart went close before Mark Bell put City ahead on nine minutes.
Jones found Stewart in space after 18 minutes and the latter drilled in a well-placed shot.
Fleet failed to clear Bell's corner on 23 minutes and Mark Avery drove home.
A brace from Michael Douglas either side of half-time gave Fleet hope, but Stewart struck again ten minutes from time.
